I love how intent she looks in her task and I think that the black and white treatment in no way takes away from the feeling of summer.

Great Falls on the Potomac

I feel that this photo is one of the more captivating photos that I have seen in a while, note the slight nuances in the color of the rocks where the water has risen and lowered from time and flood. This is probably the best photo that can be found of Great Falls and I feel that it truly captures the enormity and ferocity of the water flowing through out this narrow but yet vast network of boulders
